First of all, the service was thought as a mod_rewrite to nginx converter. However, it allows you to convert some other instructions that have reason to be ported from Apache to nginx.
Not server instructions (e.g. php_value, etc.) are ignored.
The converter does not check syntax, including regular expressions and logic errors.

OSS (OpenSourceStore) is a open source project written in PHP.
The name OSS is an anagram of SOS and can be traducted by "OpenSourceStore" or "OpenSourceSolution".
The goal of the project is to propose an IHM for discovering new open source PHP projects, trying these and keeping these into your own domain.
Why do you use the OSS client ?
You can use the client for deploying any open source project on your apache/nginx server in a few seconds.
So you can try some of open source project to get the One you've searched.
Why do you use the OSS server (the store) ?
You can use the server (the store) for giving an alternative of the standard store (example : your are a very bad developper (like me) and you would like to shaare your projects all the same, you can do it by building your own store and diffusing its adress).

This is our very first version of this, so we will be making many upgrades to it in the future (specific www user, better logging, etc) but this should get the job done for now (you can always make those changes yourself if you want). If you would rather install Ghost from scratch instead of using our AMI, check out this article. Now on to the install!

Because it can be web based you can use it from any internet enabled computer with a modern browser and because it's open-source, customise it to your liking, integrating with online services. If you'd like to use it as a desktop code editor, no problems, you only need PHP 5.0+ (though 5.3+ is recommeded), so you can use on Linux and on PC via MAMP or XAMPP and Mac via WAMP (or another PHP installation).
ICEcoder was created because web devs (like myself) always complained their code editor didn't do exactly what they like. They're often bloated with features, slow and awkward. Conversely, ICEcoder is lightweight (under 1.2mb including all plugins) and boots in seconds (often 1-2s). Oh, and it's also free (and always will be!). Enjoy!

Specs? Ubuntu 13.04, 64-bit, 614 MiB of RAM, 8 GiB storage. It’s an ec2 micro instance.
What’s the catch? The server gets destroyed after 35 minutes. You can pay to keep it longer.

We developed Koken to offer photographers, designers and artists a different kind of publishing platform. One that is focused primarily on images, can be used on your own web server, and offers robust publishing tools for web sites as original and unique as the artist themselves.

The first is a temporary, self-organising, self-powered mobile network for disaster areas, formed with small phone towers dropped in by air.
The second is a permanent system for remote areas that requires no infrastructure and creates a mesh-based phone network between Wi-Fi enabled mobile phones, and eventually specially designed mobile phones that can operate on other unlicensed frequencies, called Batphone. The two systems can also be combined.
We have developed software which we’ve called Distributed Numbering Architecture (‘DNA’) that allows people in isolated or temporary networks to immediately use their existing phone numbers.
We believe that for a phone network to be useful, you must be able to call people, and have people call you on numbers that they know. This is especially true in disasters. This is the magic of DNA: it allows people to use their existing phone numbers, so that others can call them easily.

In this article we will see how we can instruct Apache to parse .html file as a php file.

When dealing with OAuth, you will typically see it implemented as a two-legged or three-legged OAuth server. The major difference between them is that two-legged authentication doesn’t involve another user. For example, if you want to access a specific user’s Twitter information, you would consume the three-legged server because an access token must be generated for the user in your application, versus just Twitter providing you a token. We’ll focus on the three-legged variety since it’s more practical for real-world use.
We’ll use oauth-php to perform a lot of the heavy lifting for us. The library is hosted on Google Code and is not listed in Packagist, but it can still be installed using Composer. For details, check out the composer.json file in code that accompanies this article available from the PHPMaster.com GitHub account.

While we like the Browserver project, it uses a reverse proxy and pushes requests down to the client via a websocket. Node-chromify took a different approach, and has no external server dependency.
