The service is to convert an Apache's .htaccess to nginx configuration instructions.
First of all, the service was thought as a mod_rewrite to nginx converter. However, it allows you to convert some other instructions that have reason to be ported from Apache to nginx.
Not server instructions (e.g. php_value, etc.) are ignored.
The converter does not check syntax, including regular expressions and logic errors.
What is OSS ?
OSS (OpenSourceStore) is a open source project written in PHP.
The name OSS is an anagram of SOS and can be traducted by "OpenSourceStore" or "OpenSourceSolution".
The goal of the project is to propose an IHM for discovering new open source PHP projects, trying these and keeping these into your own domain.
Why do you use the OSS client ?
You can use the client for deploying any open source project on your apache/nginx server in a few seconds.
So you can try some of open source project to get the One you've searched.
Why do you use the OSS server (the store) ?
You can use the server (the store) for giving an alternative of the standard store (example : your are a very bad developper (like me) and you would like to shaare your projects all the same, you can do it by building your own store and diffusing its adress).
We have created an Amazon AMI (Amazon Machine Image) to allow for quick and easy installs of Ghost. This means rather than having a blank Linux image that you then have to install node.js, npm, Ghost, etc. on, it will already be all setup and running once Amazon creates your instance.
This is our very first version of this, so we will be making many upgrades to it in the future (specific www user, better logging, etc) but this should get the job done for now (you can always make those changes yourself if you want). If you would rather install Ghost from scratch instead of using our AMI, check out this article. Now on to the install!
ICEcoder is an open-source browser code editor, which provides a modern approach to building websites. By allowing you to code directly within the web browser, online or offline, it means you only need one program (your browser) to develop sites, plus can test on actual web servers. After development, you can also maintain the website easily, all of which make for speedy and smart development.
Because it can be web based you can use it from any internet enabled computer with a modern browser and because it's open-source, customise it to your liking, integrating with online services. If you'd like to use it as a desktop code editor, no problems, you only need PHP 5.0+ (though 5.3+ is recommeded), so you can use on Linux and on PC via MAMP or XAMPP and Mac via WAMP (or another PHP installation).
ICEcoder was created because web devs (like myself) always complained their code editor didn't do exactly what they like. They're often bloated with features, slow and awkward. Conversely, ICEcoder is lightweight (under 1.2mb including all plugins) and boots in seconds (often 1-2s). Oh, and it's also free (and always will be!). Enjoy!
Si l'on compare ces chiffres à l'an dernier, on peut noter une nette amélioration des résultats globaux. On passe d'un score Unixbench tout juste en dessous des 400 l'année précédente, à plus de 826 cette année.
What is this? Click the button to get a virtual private server.
Specs? Ubuntu 13.04, 64-bit, 614 MiB of RAM, 8 GiB storage. It’s an ec2 micro instance.
What’s the catch? The server gets destroyed after 35 minutes. You can pay to keep it longer.
qy.share est un logiciel gratuit vous permettant de partager du contenu numérique (photos, vidéos, etc…) avec vos amis à travers le web, sans devoir les stocker ailleurs. A koken (pronounced like "spoken") is a stage assistant in traditional Japanese theater. They work behind-the-scenes handling scenery, props and assisting actors. It is with great respect for the legacy and humble nature of the koken that we adopt their name as our own.
We developed Koken to offer photographers, designers and artists a different kind of publishing platform. One that is focused primarily on images, can be used on your own web server, and offers robust publishing tools for web sites as original and unique as the artist themselves.
Openmeetings provides video conferencing, instant messaging, white board, collaborative document editing and other groupware tools using API functions of the Red5 Streaming Server for Remoting and Streaming.
OpenMeetings is a project of the Apache, the old project website at GoogleCode will receive no updates anymore. The website at Apache is the only place that receives updates.
The original MySQL API is going away, deprecated by PHP in Version 5.5, with published statements that it will be removed in the future (see the red warning box). Since PHP 5.3 is now (February 2013) at end of life, and PHP 5.4 is current, the issues that will arise from the deprecation and removal are already before us. In fact, some parts of the API are already deprecated. It's time to think about making a change in our scripts. And if you're thinking about PHP 5.5, it's necessary to make the change now: "Please, note that this alpha version [php 5.5.0alpha2] also introduces the ext/mysql depreciation."

The Serval Project consists of two systems.
The first is a temporary, self-organising, self-powered mobile network for disaster areas, formed with small phone towers dropped in by air.
The second is a permanent system for remote areas that requires no infrastructure and creates a mesh-based phone network between Wi-Fi enabled mobile phones, and eventually specially designed mobile phones that can operate on other unlicensed frequencies, called Batphone. The two systems can also be combined.
We have developed software which we’ve called Distributed Numbering Architecture (‘DNA’) that allows people in isolated or temporary networks to immediately use their existing phone numbers.
We believe that for a phone network to be useful, you must be able to call people, and have people call you on numbers that they know. This is especially true in disasters. This is the magic of DNA: it allows people to use their existing phone numbers, so that others can call them easily.
When we install PHP with Apache, Apache will be able parse files with .php extension and execute the same.
But in Apache we can tweak configuration in that way so Apache start to parse other file extension as php file.
In this article we will see how we can instruct Apache to parse .html file as a php file.
Web Application Server for Android devices
It’s common for a client to send a request for a file that either does not exist on the server, or exists in a different location. This can occur for a variety of reasons. You might move your files around the server (or to a completely different server), or you may want to present a logical file system structure to connecting clients.
If you’ve ever integrated with another API that requires security (such as Twitter), you’ve probably consumed an OAuth service. In this article, I’ll explore what it takes to create your own three-legged OAuth server allowing you, for example, to create your own secure API which you can release publicly.
When dealing with OAuth, you will typically see it implemented as a two-legged or three-legged OAuth server. The major difference between them is that two-legged authentication doesn’t involve another user. For example, if you want to access a specific user’s Twitter information, you would consume the three-legged server because an access token must be generated for the user in your application, versus just Twitter providing you a token. We’ll focus on the three-legged variety since it’s more practical for real-world use.
We’ll use oauth-php to perform a lot of the heavy lifting for us. The library is hosted on Google Code and is not listed in Packagist, but it can still be installed using Composer. For details, check out the composer.json file in code that accompanies this article available from the PHPMaster.com GitHub account.
h5ai makes browsing directories on HTTP web servers more pleasant. Directory listings get styled in a modern way and browsing through the directories is enhanced by different views, a breadcrumb and a tree overview.
Apaxy is a customisable theme built to enhance the experience of browsing web directories. It uses the mod_autoindex Apache module—and some CSS—to override the default style of a directory listing.
